Art direction for the relaunch of The Art of Shaving— a high-end men's shaving products and skin care brand that elevates shaving from an act to an art.

The Art of Shaving wanted to step into the world of luxury skincare for men with the unique POV of being about transforming mundane routines into daily moments of self-connectedness, pride, and rejuvenation.

We defined their POV with Rituals: habits done with artistry. Welcome to the Art of Skin. Chemistry crafted from the highest quality botanical ingredients, tested for a range of skin types, and informed by a barber’s eye for detail.




ART DIRECTION    Lifestyle

Lifestyle photography that personified TAOS’s spirit— authentic, confident, with a focus on the details of skincare rituals, highlighting texture, skin tones, and ingredients.





ART DIRECTION    Product

Product was shot on 20 sets amongst textures reminiscent of barber shop heritage and bathroom goals, with warm, natural light and brand colors brought in through botanical and pedestal propping to help tell our ingredient story.
























ART DIRECTION    Holiday

Holiday photography was organized by routine— detailing the TAOS product lineup in a series of gifting scenarios, where the balance of chemistry and product was actualized in a neutral, on brand style.










ART DIRECTION    Organic Assets

With a new bank of photography, we concepted and created minimal static and motion organic assets that heroed the benifits of each step in the TAOS lineup.
